Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 to 2019 having been an actor as well as a board member of SSC since the year 2011. As Artistic director of SSC she served as the company's composer/musician/text director as well as the costume, set and music designer. For her last year she served as director of lighting and design for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut. Her other work includes a series of game show appearances. Daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised alongside two siblings within Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School, which she was a cheerleader. She briefly studied at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Personally, Post was previously engaged with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband of 22 years since 1982. The couple has two daughters. Post is a great actress, a wonderful wife and mom and she is a role model to numerous Hollywood famous people.
