Julie Chen Moonves hosted the famous summer reality series Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been The Talk's first hosts. She was moderating and hosting the show between 2010 and 2018, when she was the host. Then it was when she began writing that her passion for writing began to emerge. Hosting an outstanding entertainment talk show won her an additional Emmy. From 2002 until 2010, Chen Moonves was the co-host for CBS News' morning weekday broadcast The Early Show. The anchor was for The Early Show as well as CBS Morning News. The CBS Television Network broadcasted a half-hour of news during the early hours of the morning. Chen Moonves also covered the conflict in Iraq and other significant news stories on The Early Show. She worked as a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the news affiliate of CBS in the late 1990s, as well as an assistant desk in ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991) as she completed her senior year at the University of Southern California. Her first job in broadcasting was as a desk associate for ABC News' late-night broadcast Nightline together with Ted Koppel, who remains one of her journalism idols.
