Mikaela was born in 1984. She is from Iranian and Italian heritage. Her birthplace was and she grew as a child in Colbert, Washington, USA. From the age of 2 she started taking dance lessons. Later on she participated in various school plays. Then, she became a local child model and appeared in commercials. Her degree was in the field of theatre in Loyola Marymount University, which is located in LA. Mikaela made her debut in 2007 when she starred in a film called Frank. Later on, she was one of the main actors in the movie 'Sorority forever. She then played the leading role in "Humanzee" after auditioning for famous director James Gunn. The next film she appeared in was a main actress on her role on the James Gunn & Peter Safran X-Box Show Sparky & Mikaela. The year 2010 was the year that Hoover started appearing in American productions wherein she played an in-character role in the film "How I Met Your Mom'. Other credits for her acting include James Gunn's film "Super".
