Annet Mahendru
Mahendru's parents were a Russian and a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father and a Russian mother. She choreographed an 11-year old dance that earned her a German TV show appearance as a Russian Snow Maiden who transforms into a playful Indian Dancer. After completing the requirements for high school in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. Following high school, she attended acting classes at HB but subsequently enrolled in improv in Groundlings School. She then performed in a variety of comedy roles. She was created in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) and Russian Olga (mother).
